For families
You can’t be there every day. Someone can.
For adult children and representatives who worry from a distance, Meadowlark Concierge is the local, professional presence that keeps you informed without putting you in charge of everything.
The choice today
Today, most families get two choices.
Do it themselves
Adult children or representatives coordinate everything from a distance.
The problem: it’s time-consuming, stressful, and hard to sustain, especially alongside a career and a family of your own.
Hire traditional care
Bring in home care or health services.
The problem: it’s often unnecessary when the older adult is still fully independent, and it can feel like a demotion to the person receiving it.
The gap: professional, personalized support for older adults who are independent but don’t want to navigate everything alone.

How communication works
You stay informed. Your parent stays in charge.
Family communication is a real part of every plan, and it always runs through the client’s authorization. Your parent decides what gets shared and how often. Depending on the plan, that can mean a monthly email summary, updates every two weeks, an update after each visit, or a customized arrangement.
This matters more than it might sound. The reason this model works is that the older adult stays the primary decision-maker. That’s what makes them willing to accept the support in the first place.
Common questions
What families ask first
Will my parent see this as us taking over?
That’s the most common concern, and it’s why the service is built the way it is. Your parent is the client. They set the goals, they authorize the communication, and they can direct the work. Most clients come to see the concierge as their own resource, not their family’s.
What if we’re not local?
Most of our families aren’t. Distance is the reason this service exists.
What if my parent’s needs change?
Then the plan changes. That’s the Sustain stage. If needs move beyond our scope, we’ll say so directly and help identify the right professional or level of care.
Start with a conversation.
We’ll talk about your parent, the move, and what would actually help. No obligation.
